Hand Made Books
click on image Hand made paper is created using the same method invented during the Han Dynasty, 150 BC, by Cai Lun.

Cotton, recycled paper and other fibrous plants are processed with a beater made by New Zealand papermaker Mark Lander.

The original Hollander Beater was developed by the Dutch in 1680.

The pulped fibre is placed in a vat of water. A screen is pulled through the vat to collect fibres in a sheet. Water is removed by pressing and the sheets dried. click on image
